Went to Strikes Garden Centre at Stokesley today, generally good wheelchair access there. They've done some fabulous extension work there, excellent access restaurant, more goodies to see and outside has been done up wonderfully! Huge new areas, excellent displays, and I was rather taken with this pallet fence and seating area, done up so nicely.

I've been busy sorting, cleaning, decluttering, parting with, tidying up again tonight. I've sorted the cupboard of mugs, glasses, teas & hot drinks. Sorted the Felix vouchers (HUGE jar!), tidied a basket and made notes of everything else to do. Really poorly yet again. I think the worst of this is caused by it being Christmas. For eleven of the twelve months there is flip all different or special to see (or lets state is wheelchair accessible) so at this time of year it's big craft fairs or great displays at the garden centres. These are just stunning, the big polar bear in the Santa coat has a
friend peeking out the middle of the coat, both are animated.
The green wizard is in a fairy Woodland wonderland where frogs sway & fish,
water runs & a low mist with low lighting creates a magical effect.
Croaking sounds & that of the water add to the atmosphere. Fabulous :-)

Went in todays glorious weather to the garden centre, which means I've been to the third garden centre in as many days :-) Me & carer thoroughly enjoyed it & I got 2 huge deep dark autumn red chrysanthems reduced in the sale ( Read more... )
